Holton Doll Display

We had a great showing of dolls as part of the Quilts on the Courtyard in Holton this weekend.  I took pictures inside and out, so those who could not come can see how we looked.

This is what we found upon arrival in the morning:

Tables all ready for us to set up.  We had the perfect location – between the registration table (outside) and the restrooms (inside)!

All the dolls – we filled three tables!

Some of the quilts outside.  There were more than 150 quilts and lots of people came to look.

The wind was fierce and although the plan was to stay set up until 3pm, by 1:30 or so, quilts and lines were failing so we decided to take down the quilts and pack up the dolls early.  Foot traffic had already started to fall off and it’s hard to look at quilts hanging horizontal!

Thanks to the dollmakers who sent their dolls and those that came to help set up and/or provide a break for us.
