Doll Classes Coming to Kansas City

Both Ute and Christine have alerted me to the ODACA Day workshops coming up this summer.  So far, only the dates are available, but both of our “local” gals will be teaching 6 hour workshops.  We will let you know when more information is posted on the ODACA web site.

Here's a fun little tool to help you with your dollmaking!  Not only is it cute, but it's practical and we'll all leave with a finished project too.

Please bring:

  • 3" x 10" piece of fabric
  • Sewing thread
  • Sewing needle
  • Long dollmaker's needle
  • Craft glue
  • Assorted beads and/or embellishments
  • Scissors
  • Pearl cotton, embroidery floss, or twine

Provided:

  • Slap bracelet
  • Felted balls
  • Felt for embellishing

We'll also bring a sewing machine for all to use for some very quick sewing.

Lunch will be ordered in, as usual, with snacks/dessert from members.

See you on February 21!
